about

Based on the letters written in 1871 by Jorgan Daniel Bruhn to his family in Denmark which were published in History of The Montgomery Pass Wild Horse Territory by Walt and Barbara Svetich.
Three thousand horses were gathered in California and driven to Texas where there was a shortage of horses after the Civil War.
